Debut Novel
After four years in the publishing industry, I have embarked on my own journey of getting published. Since February of 2025, I have been querying my debut novel, a new adult college romance that combines the witty narrative voice of HOW TO HIDE IN PLAIN SIGHT by Emma Noyes and the romantic tension and angst of ALONE WITH YOU IN THE ETHER by New York Times Bestselling Author, Olivie Blake.

Synopsis:
For years, Paige Soto has dreamed of going to college with her childhood best friend, Gemma Adams. But the Harvard University Admissions office was clearly not clued into this plan because they only accepted Gemma, and unknowingly dealt Paige the worst blow she's had in a very long time. After enduring a brutal mental health episode the summer before her freshman year of college, Paige arrives on campus at her safety school feeling aimless and sorry for herself. But when Paige realizes she can turn her luck around and get a second shot at getting—if she can beat out the other thousands of hopeful applicants for an elusive spot in the 1,500 roster that get in.

The last person, however, she expects to see on campus is Nico Underwood—her competitive, arrogant, high school co-valedictorian and Gemma's ex-boyfriend. Worst of all, she finds out she'll also be competing against him when it comes to their transfer applications. Despite her initial resolution to stay away from him, Paige and Nico keep getting drawn into each other’s orbits when they find themselves in the same friend group, with eclectic personalities and even end up in the same Model United Nations (M.U.N) club.
While Paige is entirely oblivious to the sexual tension growing between her and her best friend’s ex-boyfriend, Paige’s friends aren’t. They encourage Paige to act upon her feelings, but Paige isn't willing to risk her lifelong friendship over a boy. The more she tries to deny her feelings, the more her old habits rise to the surface, the mental health episode she experienced over the summer threatens to rear its ugly head. When things start to unravel for Paige both personally and academically, she’s confronted with the startling realization that the thing she’s always wanted may also be the thing that’s threatening to tear her apart.
